| Research Objectives: Based on the analysis of the theoretical origins of the CPC‘s promotion of urbanization development, this study reviews the history of China‘s urbanization development in the 100 years since the founding of the party, summarizes the brilliant achievements of our country‘s urbanization development under the leadership of the CPC, and further explores the enlightenment of the CPC‘s promotion of urbanization. Research Methods: Using dialectical materialism and historical materialism analysis methods, systematically comb the historical evolution of our country‘s urbanization process in the past 100 years since the founding of the party, and objectively evaluate the development effects and existing shortcomings of our country‘s urbanization. Based on a large amount of detailed data, statistical analysis and comparative analysis are used to show the brilliant achievements of our country‘s urbanization development. Research Findings: The idea of the CPC to promote the development of urbanization in China originated from the Marxist idea of urban-rural integration. After several generations of arduous explorations by the party‘s central leadership collective, the idea of a new type of socialist urbanization with Chinese characteristics has been gradually formed. In the 100 years since the founding of the party, the CPC has made scientific decisions to promote the development of urbanization during the period of the new democratic revolution, the planned economic system and the market economic system in accordance with the actual needs of China‘s urbanization development in different historical periods. Brilliant achievements have been made in development. To lead the future of China‘s new-type urbanization to achieve high-quality development, we should adhere to the leadership of the CPC, adhere to the dominant position of the people, give full play to the role of the government and the market, adhere to deepening reforms, and adhere to the innovation of development concepts.
