It aims to systematically summarize the practical experiences derived from China’s developmental strategies, all within the context of constructing an autonomous knowledge system that aligns with Chinese philosophy and social sciences. This discipline is being gradually formed through theoretical sublimation, drawing heavily on the economic thought of Xi Jinping. A comprehensive blueprint for CIPE is constructed by integrating insights from multiple economic disciplines. The central tenets of this framework include clarification of fundamental concepts, identification of research objectives, establishment of a cohesive theoretical system, and definition of both the discipline’s orientation and its methodological paradigms, all imbued with distinct Chinese characteristics.CIPE is an applied branch of economics deeply grounded in China’s unique practical experiences. Its primary objective is to study and distill the underlying principles and laws that govern China’s development planning, employing rigorous economic theories and methodologies.
