      与工资差异均值分解的奠基性方法Oaxaca-Blinder分解相比,Brown分解方法关联和协整了职业分隔与同工不同酬,但同时也引发了又一个“指数基准问题”(index number problem);它与Oaxaca-Blinder分解原有的指数基准问题一起,共同构成了工资差异均值分解的双重指数基准问题。Appleton(1999)曾借助Neumark(1988)的分析思想对双重指数基准问题进行过某种程度的处理,而本文则是在修正Appleton和Neumark分析思路的基础上,重新构建无歧视职业(获得)结构和无歧视工资结构,以矫正双重指数基准,进而改进和优化Brown分解,更准确地刻画和计量职业分隔背景下的歧视。
英文摘要:
      Compared with the foundational Oaxaca-Blinder method used in wage differential decomposition, Brown method integrates occupational segregation into “unequal pay for equal work” problem in wage differential decomposition. However, Brown method also results in another “index number” problem, which together with the original “index number” problem of Oaxaca-Blinder method, “dual index number” problem arises in the mean decomposition of wage differential. Based on Neumark(1988)’s idea of solving “index number” problem, Appleton (1990) proposed a method to dealing with the “dual index number” problem. Interpreting Neumark’s idea from another perspective, this paper dealt with the “dual index number” problem by ameliorating non-discriminatory occupation attainment structure and non-discriminatory wage structure, thereby to obtain the wage discrimination more accurately in the context of occupational segregation.
