研究目标:揭示我国中心—外围城市经济发展差异及收敛性。研究方法:基于2005~2017年中国23个省份266个地级市的面板数据,构建单中心、双中心的中心—外围城市经济发展差异测度模型对其差异进行测度,借助σ和β收敛模型、OLS面板回归模型、空间面板计量模型对收敛性进行检验。研究发现:中心—外围城市经济发展差异总体呈逐渐缩小趋势且存在σ收敛、绝对β收敛和条件β收敛;中部β收敛速度最快、西部地区β收敛速度最慢。空间效应对中部、西部、东北β收敛产生了抑制作用,对东部β收敛产生了促进作用;中心—外围城市经济发展差异随两者距离增加而呈现梯度递增,收敛速度呈现梯度递减;当中心城市辐射距离超过200千米时,中心—外围经济发展差异高于全国均值。在中心城市不同辐射范围下,都存在显著的σ收敛和条件β收敛。研究创新:以中心—外围为视角,将空间效应、中心城市不同辐射距离纳入收敛分析。研究价值:对于缩小区域差异、实现区域协调发展具有重要的意义。 |

Research Objectives: To reveal the differences and convergence of economic development between central and peripheral cities in China. Research Methods: Based on the panel data of 266 prefecture level cities in 23 provinces of China from 2005 to 2017, this paper constructs a single center and double center central periphery city economic development difference measurement model to measure the difference, and uses σ and β convergence model, OLS panel regression model and spatial econometric model to test the convergence. Research Findings: The economic development difference between the central and peripheral cities is gradually narrowing, and there are σ convergence, absolute β convergence and conditional β convergence; the β convergence rate of central region is the fastest and that of western region is the slowest. The results show that the spatial effect restrains the β - convergence in the central, Western and northeast regions, and promotes the β - convergence in the eastern region; the economic development difference between the central and peripheral cities increases gradually with the increase of the distance between them, and the convergence speed shows a gradient decreasing trend; when the radiation distance of the central city exceeds 200 km, the difference between the central and peripheral economic development is higher than the national average. There are significant σ convergence and conditional β convergence in different radiation ranges of central cities. Research Innovations: From the perspective of center periphery, the spatial effect and different radiation distances of central cities are included in the convergence analysis. Research Value: It is of great significance to reduce regional differences and realize regional coordinated development. |
